ABOUT CYBERPUNK: EDGERUNNERS
The series tells a standalone, 10-episode story about a street kid trying to survive in Night City — a technology and body modification-obsessed city of the future. Having everything to lose, he stays alive by becoming an edgerunner — a mercenary outlaw also known as a cyberpunk.
CD PROJEKT RED, the company behind the Cyberpunk 2077 video game, is producing the series with Rafał Jaki (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher: Ronin) as Showrunner and Executive Producer, with Satoru Homma, Bartosz Sztybor and Saya Elder serving as producers. The team at CD PROJEKT RED has been working on this new series since 2018. Acclaimed Japan-based animation company, Studio Trigger, will serve as the animation studio on the series and bring the world of Cyberpunk to life with their signature, vibrant style. Hiroyuki Imaishi (Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill, Promare) will direct the series along with creative director Hiromi Wakabayashi (Kill la Kill), character designer and animation director Yoh Yoshinari (Little Witch Academia, BNA: Brand New Animal), and the adapted screenplay by Yoshiki Usa (GRIDMAN UNIVERSE series, Promare) and Masahiko Otsuka (Star Wars: Visions ‘The Elder’). The original score will be composed by Akira Yamaoka (Silent Hill series).
Why f*ck are good characters like her (Sasha) like David and Rebecca meet their end, they could drag the cyberpunk universe on for a very long time if they were alive in my opinion, and even in future projects cyberpunk, or DLC, or even anime. Just one happy ending could contribute so much content to the future cyberpunk world!!! She has a sad past, this could be used for a DLC where she would give out a quest chain to help her, and there would be something interesting at the end even without her death! David and Lucy could live happily on the moon, although David can be alive as an engram or only his brain, like Smasher, all the same, they didn’t show us how his head shattered into chips, but as it happens in anime and films, Smasher could shoot next to him or just in the body, but at the same time David would remain alive and something could be done from him in season 2 or DLC if the developers want, and Becca would be a technician in Night City and would also give quest chains, too you can say about Kiwi, she is a netrunner, which means her head is more durable than the rest, and the blood on the trash may not be from shots in the head, but from the fact that she was sliding down the wall, and this blood is from a shot in the heart, and how we we all know that in cyberpunk, with a bullet in the heart and even with a pierced head, you can stay alive, + it seems to me that Kiwi had a subscription to trauma-team, because she seems to be a wealthy lady. From this it turns out that David, Lucy, Kiwi and Falco may return in the future. And, I hope, if they return, it will be a HAPPY END, and with Sasha they will replay the type she fell but remained alive, because she managed to be cured, or disabled, although the anime says that she was gone, but that too depends on the developers, maybe this is a music video, just an alternative ending where she dies, and the original will be different where even she survived after all this) I hope so
Now I know this was a one and done anime, but hear me out. Make a "Cyberpunk: Night City Legends" they could be self contained seasons or even just episodes, kinda like "Love Death + Robots". I'm just saying Claire has a lot of drink choices at the Afterlife…
David in Edgerunners was cool, but the girl in this amv have much more clear and intresting backstory 😅 And this video have less than 5 min🙃

"Trying so hard to be free, to make you see what I see". If that doesn't describe the overall human condition right now, I don't know what does. A whole planet lost in the dark, more connected to technology than eachother. We still can't accept that we are all one and connected. We chase the impossible dream of the future, and forget to live our lives in the moment. We wake up one day and realize we wasted so much time, couldn't see what was in front of us the entire time, couldn't enjoy life.
Dawid Podsiadło is one of the most popular and acclaimed young music artists in Poland nowadays. I'm glad he is now aiming at gaining international fame with this song. Having been familiar with his discography I can say with confidence that he will certainly succeed in this endeavour. That is what I wish for him with all my heart.
Every beautiful thing has to End. Just like the stories. They did what they were best at and its worth. Cyberpunk2077 and Edgerunners earned place in my heart and this things should NEVER FADE AWAY…

WOW! First time I heard this song in the credits it felt like a banger. Just decided to check it out on YT and so glad I did. This MV was simply stunning. ~4 mins to tell the story and absolutely nailed it. Evokes memories of the intro to the movie Up–so much character development and attachment packed into such a tight space but pulled off masterfully. This MV is absolutely on par with that.

I went into this series with no expectations, and came out more emotionally drained than any other show has left me this year. Even this music video hits hard, I almost want a second season if the storytelling remains this good.
